Our family is always on the lookout for wholesome family films for our weekly Family Night. Some of the best movies we’ve ever seen have been undiscovered gems we’ve stumbled across by accident.
The 21 undiscovered treasures below are in no particular order. Some are newer and some have been out for awhile, but they all are must-see movies for your next Family Night!

Thanks for this great list, admittedly I haven’t heard of about half of them! Great stuff 👍
Duma is a touching film, might have to hunt it down and re-watch it!
Thanks for the list, Peggy! I am adding them to my to be viewed list to watch while recovering from surgery. I’ve seen a few of these and I agree they are good movies!
Thanks, Penny. I want some good things to wacht when my granddaughter comes for the summer. She fell in love with Gilligan’s Island last summer. We don’t get that channel now. She might enjoy some of these movies.
You’re welcome, Melinda! Yes, I think she would enjoy many of these, especially Christmas Oranges, Christmas Angel, Duma, The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry and the Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey. An older TV series our family has enjoyed is Father Murphy – very similar along the lines of Little House on the Prairie.
