As you can tell from my blogs and through my books, God comes first in my life and I love Him and desire to serve Him all my life. I pray my writing will impact the lives of others for His Kingdom.
Through God’s Son, Jesus Christ, I have eternal life and will someday spend eternity in heaven. I have a relationship with Jesus that is the most important and critical relationship I will ever have.
Do you have a relationship with Jesus Christ? Many people speak of Jesus and being “born again.” Some think Jesus was only a “man” who did nice things while here on earth. The Bible speaks of a different Jesus – the real Jesus – the Bible tells us that Jesus is the only way to heaven. In John 14:6, it states “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”
What a humbling thought that God would send His Son to die for our sins so that we may spend eternity with Him! I thank the Lord everyday that He would do this for me. And He did it for you too! In John 3:16, it states “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
So is it worth knowing Jesus and having a personal relationship with Him? Absolutely. The Bible is very clear that there are only two places for one to go after they die. One is heaven, the other is hell. In Revelation 20:15 it states, “If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the single most important decision you will ever make. Not only is it the most important, but it’s the longest lasting. Eternity is a long time. Where will you spend it?
